Whitesnake – Crying in the Rain guitar solo

My personal take of John Sykes’ guitar solo for the Whitesnake song “Crying in the Rain”, 1987 album version. A simple band rehearsal recording, while still getting used to a Les Paul (always been into superstrats).

We are called Palesnake and we are a Whitesnake tribute band; we also perform Deep Purple and Rainbow songs.

Theogonia, a new track!

A reworking of my track Demogorgon (2022), which was featured in the EP Quantum Arkanum. Revised guitars, recorded as a classical string ensemble, with a dark sounding bass drone being the new main, obscure element.

ἦ τοι μὲν πρώτιστα Χάος γένετο (“Verily at the first Chaos came to be”), from the poem Theogonia by Hesiod (730–700 BC), the origin of the Gods in Greek mythology.

In The Hall Of The Mountain King (Edvard Grieg) on bass

As you all know, my roots (as a listener and practitioner) are in classical music.

In this cute punk rock track we played at our 21.03 gig at Lepakkomies, Helsinki, I pay homage to the immortal Edvard Grieg during the intro (this is featured in the EP recording as well): In The Hall of the Mountain King! Wearing the Ghost mask too 🙂

“You (The Red of Ambition)”, my new song

My new song “You” is a poignant and intense reflection on the role of Ambition in human actions and history. Inspired by #Stendhal and #Dostoevsky. Hailing from my Odalisque years, the song was unreleased, so I did a robust rework.

This one is now distributed and you can find it on Spotify etc.

Here is the Soundcloud link, go and check it!

Davide Costella on drums and Second Order Effects on keyboards.

New review for Tyger!

I really wish to thank Metal Junkbox for their nice review of my track The Tyger, my personal tribute to the visionary poet and artist William Blake!

“Today we have a real musical journey, we have Quantum Prana, a musical project that manages to transport the listener through a musical environment that goes from Gothic metal, to psychedelic, with Groove and a lot of creativity, we feel for several moments as a true interspatial journey in a creation that manages to break paradigms and deliver something unique that deserves your attention!

The Tyger (A Tale of Creation) was the song that introduced us to the creative soul of Quantum Prana, a song that is full of elements and nuances, those that labeling would be imprecise and describing would be vague, so listen and draw your conclusions. !!!”

Obrigado, Metal Junkbox!
