A horror story of might, God and grandeur. Whispered in the darkness.
My homage to the visionary poet William Blake (1757-1827).
I really wish to thank Metal Junkbox for their nice review of my track The Tyger, my personal tribute to the visionary poet and artist William Blake!
“Today we have a real musical journey, we have Quantum Prana, a musical project that manages to transport the listener through a musical environment that goes from Gothic metal, to psychedelic, with Groove and a lot of creativity, we feel for several moments as a true interspatial journey in a creation that manages to break paradigms and deliver something unique that deserves your attention!
The Tyger (A Tale of Creation) was the song that introduced us to the creative soul of Quantum Prana, a song that is full of elements and nuances, those that labeling would be imprecise and describing would be vague, so listen and draw your conclusions. !!!”
Obrigado, Metal Junkbox!

A remix of my #progressivemetal / prog rock song Funky Matters (a concept on the history of particle #physics) is now available on #soundcloud at https://soundcloud.com/quantumprana/funky-matters .
Defined as “Perfect intersection of Frank Zappa and Primus.” in a recent review. Check it out!
A very short and rough comparison of two @Victory Amplifiers V4 amps, filmed with smartphones and no post processing for a (relatively) realistic effect about the live sound. It’s basically A/B-ing the relative differences of amps and pedals.
As an extra, there’s also a short test on-the-field for The Sheriff’s GREEN channel, straight into a MESA Dual Rectifier 4×12 cab, boosted only by the Bad Horse.
…and now also Quantum Arkanum is available on #Spotify, #Deezer and all the other digital distribution media 😄. This is my Yin side, dark and symbolic, dealing with Greek and Egyptian cosmogony and ancient myths such as the cult of Amun-Ra. The beginning of a long and comprehensive project. Check it out!
While my Quantum Prana music is my Yang, mostly fun and playful with progressive, funk and jazz influences, my Quantum Arkanum solo project is my Yin: the moon, dark and more Metal. Centred on #occultism, #symbolism and #hermeticism (my passions since the 90s
), this first EP deals with Egyptian cosmogony (with some references to Hesiod and ancient Greece as well).
Musically, it is built upon orchestral music, King Crimson’s “Red” era, Candlemass, Opeth and other dark stuff.
It will appear on #Spotify and other digital distribution media in about a week. In the meantime, you can listen to it on Soundcloud:
Some update about my upcoming Quantum Arkanum EP: the vocals for track #2 are now recorded. The song is heavy on symbolism and gnostic traditions, consistently with the EP’s title.
If Event Horizon https://g.co/kgs/4AB8BA is my Yang, progressive and rather bright sounding, Quantum Arkanum is my Yin, featuring dark atmospheres based on doom metal arrangements. Still quite progressive anyway, but with a different flavour.
Tracks #1 and #3 are going to be instrumental, while #2 features vocal parts and lyrics on Egyptian cosmogony and occultism. A mix of English and Ancient Greek.
Forecast for the release date: end of June/mid July. Stay tuned!
My “Mozart Medley” is now published on #Spotify and other major streaming services like #Soundcloud. These are three Mozart pieces adapted for an electric guitar ensemble (string quartet and winds), including some humour:
Original compositions by W. A. Mozart
Rearrangement and production by Quantum Prana
