I am the live bassist for the Finnish prog metal/djent band Aitheer, which draws from the concept of “natural resonance frequency of the Universe” of 432Hz. Our instruments are thus tuned to 432 Hz instead of the standard 440 Hz, which gives a very interesting feeling especially to Western ears, so accustomed to the 12-tone temperate scale in 440 Hz with a sharper sound.
